Hotel

Thanks to the SENZOMATIC system, a wooden hotel avoided costly reconstruction.

The designers of one of our clients used modern technologies to design a wooden annex of a hotel. The architects chose a structure made of wooden panels and innovative materials to reduce the building’s energy demand and carbon footprint.

The hotel’s sensor system saved money
All construction work on the hotel was carried out with maximum care, in line with the company’s building standards and applicable technical regulations. However, in such a large building, it’s nearly impossible to ensure that no issues arise during commissioning. That’s why the company decided to install the SENZOMATIC system. From the early construction phase, it provided assurance that the wooden structure would maintain its maximum durability and avoid major damage.

In total, we installed 27 sensors in the hotel, which continuously monitor the presence of water and humidity levels directly in the bathroom structures of individual rooms. As soon as the hotel opened, the sensors detected minor wastewater leaks from two shower areas, caused by improper installation of drainage channels. SENZOMATIC thus saved the hotel operator from a costly reconstruction, which would have inevitably been required had the water leaks continued undetected.

Installation included:

  • 27× MHT sensors
  • 3× central units
