Family House

A timber family home near Olomouc is protected by 12 sensors.

For a client building a diffusion-open timber house in the Olomouc region, we installed an extended SENZOMATIC sensor package. These sensors monitor high-risk areas such as the bathroom, kitchen, and utility room, where there is an increased risk of condensation and water leaks.

Bathroom
An HT sensor placed under the bathtub monitors air humidity and temperature, while an MHT sensor measures moisture and temperature within the structure between the shower and the bathtub. This sensor combination alerts to moisture issues in the walls and water seeping into the structure. The bathroom is also equipped with an FHT sensor for rapid flood detection, which can automatically shut off the water supply via a valve to prevent major damage.

Kitchen
An MHT sensor was installed under the dishwasher to detect possible water leaks from the supply or drainage. An FHT sensor was placed near the refrigerator with a water dispenser, and an HT sensor near the kitchen hood’s outlet to monitor whether all steam is properly vented outside rather than seeping into the walls.

Living Room
At the client’s request, a sensor was also installed near the fireplace chimney due to the possibility of increased vapor condensation caused by the temperature difference between the insert and the room.

  • Advanced protection package with custom modifications
  • 3× MHT sensors
  • 7× HT sensors
  • 2× FHT-I sensors
