HR Manager

Your Role

You are the HR Manager. At Senzomatic, this role is about keeping the company running — from hiring the right people to making sure the office works. You will own the HR agenda, office operations, and a slice of company admin, reporting directly to the COO.

Your main responsibilities

People & Talent Management

  • Full-cycle Recruitment: You own the end-to-end hiring process –— creating positions, active sourcing (LinkedIn), pre-screening, and leading interviews alongside the team.
  • Employee Lifecycle: You guide employees from their first day to their last, owning onboarding, engagement and the offboarding process.
  • HR Admin & Compliance: You manage contracts, attendance, and the employee contact list. You handle reporting to authorities (OSSZ, health insurance) and ensure we are always compliant with Labor Law.
  • Development & Benefits: You manage employee benefits (e.g., Bolt), organize internal training sessions, and ensure all required medical check-ups and certifications are up to date.

Office & Business Operations

  • Office Ownership: You are responsible for the daily operations and look of the office. This includes ordering supplies, equipment, and making sure no one ever runs out of coffee.
  • Vendor & IT Support: You communicate with suppliers (printers, coffee, etc.) and act as the gatekeeper for Microsoft Office and SharePoint access, ensuring everyone has the hardware they need.
  • Global & Legal Support: You support our expansion by assisting with founding subsidiaries, managing trademarks, and handling the specific agenda for our branch in Canada.
  • Financial Liaison: You cooperate closely with our accountant to ensure all documents, payroll inputs, and administrative records are correct.
  • Safety (BOZP): You manage and oversee Safety at Work (BOZP) standards across the office.

Culture & Logistics

  • Event Management: You plan and execute memorable team events.
  • Leadership Support: You work side-by-side with management on strategic administrative projects, process optimization, and various ad-hoc challenges.

What success looks like (first 6 months)

  • Operational Excellence: You have the execution of both HR and Office tasks firmly in hand; nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Process Clarity: You have streamlined internal processes, making them more efficient and easier for the team to follow.
  • Integrated Support: You have become a trusted partner for both the leadership team and your colleagues.

Your working style

  • Doer Mindset: You get things done. No task is too small (fixing the printer) or too complex (Canadian legal agenda) — you take a brief and run with it.
  • Hyper-Organized: With such a broad range of responsibilities, you are a master of checklists, tables, and proactive planning.
  • Fast and Autonomous: You don’t wait to be told twice. You identify what isn’t working and you fix it.

Challenges you should expect

  • Balancing Multiple Priorities: This role covers a lot of ground simultaneously. You’ll need to manage competing deadlines and parallel workstreams without losing momentum.
  • High Context Switching: You are the main point of contact for almost everything, meaning your day will be filled with diverse tasks requiring different mindsets.
