Benefits of SENZOMATIC

We cooperate closely with architects, engineers, property owners, and other professionals to effectively manage moisture risk. This allows us to detect both acute and emerging moisture and leak issues that may require immediate attention. We protect over 1,000 family homes, commercial buildings, and historical sites in the Czech Republic and abroad.

Protecting Your Investment

Water, moisture, and mold damage pose serious risks. SENZOMATIC provides moisture control and protects your property from these common threats.

Preserving Building Integrity

Continuous moisture monitoring in high-risk areas helps prevent structural damage to wooden buildings caused by moisture and wood rot.

Extending Building Lifespan

SENZOMATIC reduces maintenance costs, extends the life of your building, and increases your return on investment.

Repair Cost Savings

SENZOMATIC technology quickly identifies and locates high moisture, enabling early intervention, reducing repair costs, and preventing extensive damage.

Healthy Indoor Environment

Mold prediction algorithms help maintain healthy indoor air quality and prevent costly remediation or potential legal disputes.

Tenant Issue Identification

24/7 monitoring and logging of high humidity and mold issues help verify tenant behavior and claims.

Data-driven support for long-term durability and resilience of buildings

By monitoring key parameters such as wood moisture, air humidity, temperature and others, Senzomatic enables the timely identification of risks, reduces costs, and systematically extends the service life of wooden buildings.

Senzomatic keeps a continuous overview of the actual condition of wooden buildings over 50+ years, supports high-quality LCA processing, and allows the actual condition of the building to be documented.

It helps project teams to systematically respond to future regulatory and market requirements and, last but not least, reduce their carbon footprint and it also actively helps its clients meet the requirements of international sustainability certification systems such as LEED, DGNB, and BREEAM.

Given the increasingly stringent legislation, including upcoming European Union rules requiring life cycle assessment (LCA) for large buildings from 2028 and all new buildings from 2030, the availability of this verifiable, long-term data is becoming
a prerequisite for responsible building design and operation.

SENZOMATIC = Collaboration of Scientists and Builders

The technology was developed through long-term collaboration between the Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU) and the University Centre for Energy Efficient Buildings (UCEEB). It is the result of a decade-long research program focused on the effects of moisture in wood and its effective measurement. This extensive research played a key role in developing our robust moisture monitoring and risk assessment system.
